Brett Samuel
Brett has been the principal of Rosendorff Lawyers for the past 14 years. Brett oversees Rosendorff Lawyers four main areas of practice, being Insurance, Property, Building and Commercial law.
Brett has a particular interest in each of these areas and has particular expertise in:
- Domestic building disputes
- Insurance denial claims
- Caveat and restrictive covenant matters
- Defamation proceedings
- General commercial litigation
In building disputes, Brett regularly acts for both home owners and builders and therefore understands the key drivers and pressures that both parties face in any dispute over defects and incomplete building works.
In the insurance sphere, Brett has obtained some outstanding results for his clients who have had their insurance claims denied. Many of Brett’s clients have been awarded large payouts based on submissions Brett has made on their behalf to AFCA.
Brett oversees the property practice which has a particular focus on restrictive covenant applications and caveat disputes. Additionally, Brett has a strong interest in sale of land and commercial lease disputes.
Brett prides himself on giving clients straightforward and honest legal representation. He understands the stresses involved in litigation and seeks to assist clients resolve their disputes in a timely manner and cost efficient manner.
Brett conducts matters in both Federal and State jurisdictions. He appears in the Supreme, County and Magistrates Courts, Federal Court, VCAT and other jurisdictions.
